"Open Court Resources.com was created two years ago by LAUSD teacher,
Mathew Needleman of Saturn Street Elementary School in District 3.
Since then it has become the largest collection of free Open Court
Resources on the internet providing resources for all grade levels
K-6. The site is updated almost daily and most recently added
powerpoint presentations and movies for nearly every OCR unit in
grades K-6 for both the 2000 and 2002 editions. This is in addition
to the vocabulary chants, links, lesson plans, picture files, the OCR
Discussion Board, a complete sight word teaching system, and more.

Open Court Resources.com has been recognized by the National Council
for Teachers of English (NCTE) and school districts from Los Angeles

"This alphabet activities page is loaded with fun and superb graphics. Lesson one is a warm-up activity that enables your computer to store the site's bulky graphics in its directory. Once the temporary files are in place, the other alphabet games play faster. The remaining lessons ask children to identify what pictures match corresponding letters and to identify what letter is missing from a particular word. This site is a must-try for young children who are ready to point, click, and type their way to alphabetical excellence."
